Debanjan Majhi is a Civil Engineer turned Film Maker, who has worked extensively on the field and is trained in Design education from NID Ahmedabad. Born and brought up in Kolkata, he did his graduation in Civil Engineering from KIIT University, Bhubaneswar and was working in a Defence project in New Delhi, for a construction company. In sometime, he left his job to pursue films, and had been an assistant/associate director in a number of Bollywood and Bengali feature films, advertising shoots and documentaries (National & International), before joining a Masters in Design course in Film & Video Communication at National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. In the meantime, he directed and produced a number of short films, music videos, mini web series, docufiction films, which not only won him awards and accolades, but are streaming on different OTT Platforms. Debanjan is currently working at his own setup with corporate organizations, curating audio visual projects, CSR Drives, ESG Awareness campaigns and Creative Lead for branded content consultation/strategy.
